Restorative Yoga

Adult Enrichment / Mind & Body -
Adult Fall 20

Restorative yoga is a passive, gentle form of yoga. Through the use of various props (blankets, bolsters, blocks and straps) you release into supportive poses and begin to more easily identify the ways you are holding onto stress and tension. Once you become aware and come into contact with these deeper restrictions and habitual patterns, you learn to make space and welcome whatever you find with kindness, curiosity, and compassion. Each class includes easing into comfortable poses, a guided meditation and ending in savasana, the pose of restful awareness. Restore, renew and revitalize your mind, body, and spirit. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, you should bring your own blanket/mat and bolster to class.
