    Calling all aspiring performers. Actively explore your dramatic side as you sing, dance, and act in a variety of musical theater songs, theater games, and other creative activities. Be ready to sing, move, imagine, create, and have fun. Families will be invited to show the last 20 minutes of camp on Thursday, August 1.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes (for dancing and movement). Friends and family are invited to a special performance at 11:30 am on Thursday, July 11.

    Into the unknown! You will learn music and choreography from our favorite Frozen sequel. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more. We will also play fun and creative theater games. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Family and friends are invited to a brief performance on the last day of camp at 3:30 pm.
  • Summer 2024 Middle School Musical: Finding Nemo Kids

    Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. Finding Nemo Kids is a great show for students who enjoy singing, dancing, and creating different characters. It's also a great opportunity for any student who wants to work together to make something special! All students receive a part in the musical. Space is limited to 50 students - all students must be pre-registered before the first rehearsal. The BEAT (Bunce Educational Adventure Theater) will provide trained theater staff who will lead middle school students through a musical theater experience that will promote problem solving skills, working cooperatively, leadership and self-confidence. From beginners to experienced – learning never stops! Auditions for lead characters will be held on the first day.   • Acting Audition Workshop

    This class is intended for actors who may be considering auditioning for an upcoming theatre production, but who would like to work on their auditioning skills. Whether it’s your school musical or dramatic play, a community theatre or college production, this workshop will hone your skills and give you a toolkit to utilize when preparing for your audition. The class will work on monologue selection and performance, cold readings and interviews, and video auditions. Participants are urged to bring in any material they are currently using or working on for review.
  • Acting for Everyone

    For anyone who has always been interested in acting but may have been too busy, or too reluctant to try, this is your opportunity to find out what it takes to become an actor. This class will focus on guided improvisation, specific acting techniques, and personal exploration to build an understanding of the actors process. The class is open to anyone who has had previous acting experience, or for those who have never done it before. Participants should wear clothing that is comfortable to move in.
