Grab your friends and family and gather to create a beautiful barn quilt pattern on a 14" x 14” reclaimed wood pallet. You will be guided step-by-step through in-person and written instructions. You're welcome to choose your own colors to make it your own. The barn wood is locally sourced by craftsman and farmer, Josh Reinitz of East Henderson Farm, each pallet has a unique quality. The wood is truly reclaimed, meaning each pallet will be completely individual and will have flaws, such as nail holes and small dings. Fall is in the air and with that comes apple season! This is the time of year to make the very best apple pie. Nancy's students rave about this fun class. If you say, “I can’t make pies” then this class is for you. Nancy will take you through all the steps, from making a crust, to preparing all the filling for your pie using the freshest apples. You will be surprised how easy it is. Leave class with a hot apple pie to share with family and friends. Boxes will be provided. Please bring a rolling pin, if you have one. Supply fee of $15 payable to instructor in class.

Improving is just a matter of knowing some simple tricks to make your writing more impactful and readable and may help get you a promotion at work or avoid rejection from a publisher. There will be writing and editing examples and exercises so you can see in real time how to make sentences flow properly while still maintaining reader interest. Leave with a workbook full of writing tips and tricks, which is included in the class fee.
