Are you interested in cultivating strawberries, blueberries, or other fruits in your backyard? This class will guide you through the straightforward process of selecting suitable fruit varieties for Minnesota, as well as the essential techniques for planting, pruning, and maintaining these plants to promote their health and maximize yield. You will gain in-depth knowledge about strawberries and raspberries, along with insights into growing blueberries, apples, cherries, plums, and honeyberries. Register now to start your journey toward harvesting fresh fruits at home.

Washington County Master Gardeners - Paul Richtman

Paul has been passionate about gardening since his youth, focusing on the cultivation of fruits and vegetables. Since 2004, he has been sharing his expertise through Community Education classes. As a certified Tree Care Advisor and Extension Master Gardener from the University of Minnesota, he specializes in growing fruits, vegetables, trees, and shrubs. Paul enjoys sharing the knowledge he has acquired from UMN research and best practices with others.
