Thinking about a career in healthcare or just want to better understand medical terms during doctor visits? This beginner-friendly class is a great place to start—no experience needed!

You’ll learn:

  • How medical words are built using root words, prefixes, and suffixes
  • Common medical abbreviations
  • Basic terms used in medical billing and coding

After class, you’ll receive a workbook with an open-book quiz. If you pass, you’ll earn a Certificate of Completion.

This class is taught by longtime educator LeeAnne Krusemark and credentialed medical professional Vanessa Grinnell, RRT.
