Youth Enrichment / Health -
Youth W-SP 26

This class teaches kids and teens how to be safe and responsible babysitters. It’s based on a program from the American Safety and Health Institute and is approved by the American Pediatrics Association.

You’ll learn:

  • How to watch and care for children
  • How to handle behavior in a positive way
  • How to feed and change babies safely
  • What to do in case of an emergency, including basic first aid and fire safety
  • How to keep yourself safe while babysitting

During class, you’ll get to practice with dolls, bottles, and diapers. You’ll also get a handbook you can download and a card to show you’re certified.
