The Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council (ECPTO) consists of families dedicated to supporting Osseo Area Schools Early Childhood and Family Education programs - ECFE, Preschool and PreK, and Early Childhood Screening.
Classes specifically designed for parents and infants. Families stay together the entire class time. Registration is based on the age of the child at the start date of each class.
Mixed Age adventures for parents and children age birth to 5 years old. Parent and child separating time will be determined by the needs of the group.

Some classic, quick and spectacular dishes for company that are both healthy and delicious. You'll work with whole chicken, chicken parts and versatile skinless-boneless chicken breasts. You'll use skillets and an oven to prepare and enjoy chicken: cordon blue, marsala with sage, Philippine-style adobo, strips with spicy honey dipping sauce, white wine and mushroom sauce, crab-stuffed breasts, crispy parmesan strips, Italian lemon, lemon kebabs, pineapple-raspberry nibbles, raspberry lime and roasted mushrooms and apples. Three of the recipes make great appetizers and the entrees will quickly become your favorites for family and friends. Course Fee includes $17 Food Supply Fee.
Laurel Severson is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a double major in Home Economics and Education. She has worked in businesses throughout her career focusing on food – beginning with editing a series of 12 international cookbooks, testing recipes and editing a British cookbook. She worked at 3M for 30 years supervising the executive dining room, a snack bar, employees buffet, conference dining rooms and the special events such as retirement parties and 25 year anniversary parties before transferring into hospital food service and then the hotel industry. Laurel currently works in many Community Education districts throughout the metro area teaching participation cooking classes. She has traveled extensively including living in the Philippines for one year and in London for two years. An avid collector of cookbooks, Laurel generously shares culinary tips with students. She entertains extensively in her 1882 home and is an energetic volunteer within her St. Paul community. For example, this fall, one volunteer project includes heading up the kitchen crew to feed 500 for a spaghetti supper fundraiser.
