Online: Zuppa Toscana, Italian Wedding Meatball Soup, & Homemade Baguettes! (Instant Pot® or Stove Top)

Adult Enrichment / Cooking & Nutrition -
Adult Fall 25

Class will take place on Zoom, free online software. Participants will receive instructions on how to access the class prior to it starting.

Warm, delicious, soothing, satisfying soups are such a welcome treat for dinner any time of year. All the stresses of the day seem to melt away with the smell of freshly made soup that brings smiles to the entire family.

Have some fun participating in this virtual cook-along class and expand your family’s soup rotation as you learn to create two wonderful soups and homemade baguette. Choose one soup for your cook-along and watch a demonstration of the other or choose to make both. Both pair perfectly with the amazing homemade baguettes you'll make from scratch.

No Instant Pot®? No problem! Chef Tess will make one soup in the Instant Pot® and the other on the stovetop with a soup pot. She'll provide step-by-step guidance and instruction for both cooking options for each soup so everyone can cook-along using whatever appliance and cooking tools/equipment you choose. Experience how flavors are enhanced and infused by making these recipes in your Instant Pot® or enjoy the simple soothing pleasures of making soups the classical way.

On the menu: Tess's copycat version of Olive Garden’s Zuppa Toscana, her version of Italian Wedding Meatball Soup, and her own version of quick baguettes. These delicious no-fail recipes created by Chef Tess will become family favorites.

While cooking-along is loads of fun, and highly recommended, it is optional. A list of ingredients and class details will be received in advance of the class with enough time for shopping and preparation. Your instructor’s personal recipe from this class is included in a professionally made PDF packet you'll receive after the class. Tess's recipes are copyrighted and are only shared with those who register for this class. As a bonus, Tess created a private and public group on Facebook for class participants. Everyone will receive an invite; joining is optional.

Note: one registration fee for this virtual interactive class can include immediate family members living full-time in the same home only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required. If friends, adult children, or extended family members are gathering for a fun night together, each household must register separately even if participating together.
