The Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council (ECPTO) consists of families dedicated to supporting Osseo Area Schools Early Childhood and Family Education programs - ECFE, Preschool and PreK, and Early Childhood Screening.
Classes specifically designed for parents and infants. Families stay together the entire class time. Registration is based on the age of the child at the start date of each class.
Mixed Age adventures for parents and children age birth to 5 years old. Parent and child separating time will be determined by the needs of the group.

This is an online class and will be held through Futura's Zoom account. An email with login information will be sent prior to class. Be sure you have a current email on file with us.
Always dreamed of learning Spanish or refreshing your high school Spanish? The primary focus of the class will be on building conversational tools in Spanish through interactive practice and exercises. Vocabulary topics will include common greetings and introductions, pronunciation, numbers, food, clothing, likes and dislikes. Grammar topics will include subject pronouns, the verb estar conjugation, gender of nouns, and plurality. Participants will learn how to carry on small conversations in Spanish and each class will include interesting cultural anecdotes including Spanish word origin, dialect differences, and names in Spanish. Ability to access zoom and basic working computer knowledge essential.
Futura Language Professionals are experienced and enthusiastic staff who have traveled the globe. Our teachers bring a contagious love for language and culture to the classroom. A creative approach to language learning allows each of our teachers to demonstrate and use their best skills to teach Spanish while using our proven methods of instruction. All of our spanish instructors have college educations, experience working with children, and a true commitment to creating a multilingual and multicultural environment in the places we live.
