Join Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and a host of beloved Dr. Seuss characters in Seussical KIDS, a whimsical musical journey perfect for young performers and audiences alike! Travel from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus as the Cat in the Hat narrates the tale of Horton, who discovers a tiny world on a speck of dust — the planet of the Whos.
Among them is Jojo, a young thinker with a big imagination. As Horton strives to protect the Whos and care for an abandoned egg left by the carefree Mayzie La Bird, he faces ridicule, danger, and even a trial. But with the unwavering support of the kind-hearted Gertrude McFuzz, Horton proves that loyalty, friendship, and believing in yourself can triumph against all odds. Seussical KIDS is a vibrant, fun-filled show that celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the power of standing up for what’s right. It’s an ideal production for students who love to sing, dance, and bring colorful characters to life on stage! All students who are registered receive a part in the musical! Auditions will be held the first few days of rehearsals. There will be two performances for friends & family. Costumes included in the fee. Students will need to provide the base layer.
