Online: Writing for Online Blogs, Magazines & Websites

Adult Enrichment / Arts & Creativity -
Adult W-SP 26

You don’t need a degree or past experience to start writing for blogs, magazines, or websites. Some writing jobs help you get noticed, and many pay well — even $1 per word or more! In this online class, you’ll learn how to come up with ideas, find sources, and discover over 1,000 places that pay writers. You’ll also learn how to do interviews, write content people want to read, protect your work, and pitch your ideas to editors. Plus, you’ll see how writing can help you sell other work, like your own book.

This class is held online through Zoom. Please make sure we have your current email so we can send you the Zoom link ahead of time. You’ll also get PDF handouts during the class.

The instructor, LeeAnne Krusemark, is a former journalist, published author and editor, and teaches publishing at colleges across the country — including Harvard Adult Education.
