Have a story idea but not sure how to start? This class gives you a step-by-step plan to write your novel — and you can finish it in as little as 90 days! You’ll learn how to choose your genre, build strong characters, create exciting settings, and outline your plot. You’ll also get tips to stay motivated, beat writer’s block, and keep your writing on track.
We’ll cover how to fix problems with pacing, dialogue, and character development, and how to edit your own work. You’ll even get feedback from beta readers and learn about publishing options. By the end of class, you’ll know how to finish your novel and take the next steps toward getting it published.
This is an online class held through Zoom. Please make sure we have your current email so we can send you the Zoom link before class. PDF handouts are included and will be shared during the session.
Your instructor, LeeAnne Krusemark, is a former journalist, published author and editor, and teaches publishing at colleges across the country — including Harvard Adult Education.
LeeAnne is an author, speaker, business owner, Chamber of Commerce Past President, and guest instructor at more than 200 colleges and other learning institutions from Maine to Hawaii, as well as an adjunct online professor of publishing through Ed2Go at more than 2,000 facilities worldwide, including Harvard.
