Understanding Bunions: Causes, Care and Control

Adult Enrichment / Health & Wellness -
Adult W-SP 26

Bunions are a common foot problem, but many people don’t fully understand what causes them or how to treat them. In this class, you’ll learn what bunions are, why they form, and how your shoes and the way you walk (biomechanics) can make a difference.

We’ll explore simple lifestyle changes, gentle exercises, and ways to improve foot alignment that can help reduce pain and slow bunion growth. You’ll also learn when it might be time to consider orthotics or surgery—and how to know what’s right for you.

This class is a great chance to ask questions in a safe, supportive space and walk away with practical tips to feel more comfortable and confident.
