This live cooking class takes place on Zoom, a free online program. We’ll send you instructions before the class starts, so please make sure we have your current email address. PDF handouts will be shared during the class.
In this class, you’ll learn how to make delicious North Indian dishes with bold flavors from spices, ghee, and cream. You’ll cook butter chicken (chicken makhani), flavored rice, and raita (a spiced yogurt side dish). You’ll also learn how to layer spices to build rich, tasty flavors.

Ploy Khunisorn is a native of Thailand. She went to Suan Dusit International Culinary School while she was working as a financial analyst in Bangkok. She came to the USA to earn a Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability at Harvard University and a Master of Education at Cambridge College. She started teaching cooking classes in 2014. Having traveled to over 30 countries, she has enjoyed and learned to cook a variety of cuisines around the world. In her 9+ years of teaching experience, Ploy has taught over 6,000 students to cook and bake Asian cuisines, vegan food, gluten-free diets, pastries, and more. She also teaches in-person and online cooking classes for community adult education and community colleges. She is also a graduate student in the Master of Gastronomy program at Boston University.
