Add some color to the winter season by painting this vibrant red cardinal perched on a snowy branch. Learn easy techniques for layering colors, creating texture, and capturing the beauty of a winter scene. To make the process even more enjoyable, each 11x14 canvas will be lightly sketched out ahead of time, so you can focus on painting and personalizing your design. This class is perfect for beginners as well as those with painting experience. Everyone will leave with a finished canvas to display or gift. All supplies are provided.
Lisa Van Wyk, a passionate art educator for over 19 years, is the owner of Art Innovators & KidzArt. These enrichment programs are Lisa's way of fostering the creative spark in minds of all ages. With a B.A. in Fine Arts from Hamline University and a M.A. in Art Education from the University of Minnesota, Lisa brings a strong foundation in artistic practice and pedagogy to her teaching. But for Lisa, art is more than just technique. It's about embracing the freedom to explore, to take risks, and to trust your own creative vision.
