Glass mosaic might sound fancy, but it’s fun and easy to learn! In this hands-on class, you’ll create your own tabletop or decorative sign using colorful, precut glass pieces.
Session 1: Start your project by looking through idea books, patterns, and stencils. Choose from dozens of glass colors and begin designing your piece. You’ll take home a little homework to finish before the next class.
Session 2: Grout your mosaic and learn about glass cutting, mosaic tools, and other styles of mosaic art. Sign ideas include “Welcome,” house numbers, last names, or even the shape of Minnesota!
Project Options & Fees:
After a day at the office where Lindsey is an analyst for an airline, and a mom to two boys, she loves to unwind with mosaics. After realizing how relaxing it is, she now teaches it in a way to make it accessible to all ages and skill levels. Her goal is to make this a fun, relaxing, humorous evening where time flies.
