The Early Childhood Parent Advisory Council (ECPTO) consists of families dedicated to supporting Osseo Area Schools Early Childhood and Family Education programs - ECFE, Preschool and PreK, and Early Childhood Screening.
Classes specifically designed for parents and infants. Families stay together the entire class time. Registration is based on the age of the child at the start date of each class.
Mixed Age adventures for parents and children age birth to 5 years old. Parent and child separating time will be determined by the needs of the group.

This class will be using a new curriculum designed to help children develop life skills that will help them to get along with others and manage their emotions. We will follow a typical ECFE class structure with time for you and your child to play together, circle time and parent discussion. During parent discussion, we will have the first few weeks to get to know one another before beginning the empowering program. About week 4 of class, we will start parent time with a check-in and then move into the planned lessons. Because this curriculum is still being developed, you will be asked to actively participate in session activities and answer questions at the end of each session. You will be given some children’s books and activities to continue the learning between sessions. Some of the activities will be accessed from the internet. You will also be asked for permission to record part or all of each session.
