    The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute (approved by the American Pediatrics Association) gives everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. You will learn the responsibilities of being a prepared, safe, responsible and professional babysitter. Topics include supervision, behavior guidance, proper feeding and diapering techniques, personal safety, basic first aid, medical emergencies, and fire safety. Dolls, bottles and diaper supplies will be provided at class for hands-on participation. You will receive a certification card and a downloadable handbook. Bring a nut-free snack and beverage to class.

    Chimney and Fireplace Maintenance

    Learn the importance of regular chimney sweeps and inspections of chimneys and fireplaces, especially if used for fires. Information will be shared about repairs and installation of chimney caps by a former chimney sweep with 3 years of experience. Your instructor brings his experience to the community through an informative and interactive Q & A session. His class is meant to assist those those that are buying or selling a home with a chimney to know what to look for, consider and be aware of moving forward.

    DASH summer soccer camp will provide you with a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense), training and scrimmages. Bring a water bottle. Balls are provided (cleats and shin guards optional).
  • DASH Sports Lacrosse

    Experience the game of lacrosse. Learn basic lacrosse fundamentals including stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting, all in a fun, non-checking environment. This is a non-contact class, helmets and gloves are not required, but can be brought with and worn. Sticks and balls are provided.
  • DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes

    Looking for a fun introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp will introduce you to key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning. The final day of camp is ‘Game Day’ when you will showcase your skills in a game environment. Bring a water bottle and a baseball glove. Baseballs and bats are provided.

    Launch and watch your very own rocket speed 300 feet into the air! Then it is yours to take home! Make and take home multiple rockets of varying difficulty throughout camp. You will use these rockets and airplanes to investigate basic aeronautical concepts including: propulsion, thrust, lift, drag and more. Hypothesize about travel in outer space, how to get a United States astronaut to Mars and life on Mars. NOTE: Bring two, 2-liter soda bottles (empty) for 2 different experiments.

    About Early Childhood Screening Early Childhood Screening is a free service for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Screening includes: A check of vision, hearing, height, weight and developmental progress. A review of immunizations records and family information. An individual review with parents/guardians of their child's progress and needs. Early Childhood Screening identifies needs that may require special attention before a child enters school. IN-PERSON APPOINTMENT: Parent/guardian requests an in-person screening appointment for their child at a school location.     Screening is a FREE Service for All Osseo Area Schools Children. (Watch a short video Screening Video). *All Children complete Early Childhood Screening prior to enrolling in kindergarten. Available for children ages 3-5; ideal time for screening is between ages 3 and 4. *Simple check of vision, hearing, height, weight and development (not a substitute for comprehensive eye exam). *Brief review of health history and immunizations *Helps identify children who may benefit from resources to help in their development Note: There is no charge for screening, but you must add this course to your cart and complete the checkout process to be enrolled.
