  • Selections from Frozen Kids

    The BEAT (Bunce Educational Adventure Theater) will be offering a theater experience, Selections from Frozen Kids. Students will learn 3-4 songs from the musical Frozen Kids and will learn and play theater games while learning theater skills. A brief performance will be offered for parents on the final day of rehearsals (Wednesday, October 9th at 5:00 P.M.) at Edinbrook. The BEAT (Bunce Educational Adventure Theater) will provide trained theater staff to lead students through this musical theater experience that will promote problem solving skills, working cooperatively, leadership and self-confidence. All students will receive (and keep) a Bunce Performing Arts t-shirt to wear during the performance.

    Calling all aspiring performers. Actively explore your dramatic side as you sing, dance, and act in a variety of musical theater songs, theater games, and other creative activities. Be ready to sing, move, imagine, create, and have fun. Families will be invited to show the last 20 minutes of camp on Thursday, August 1.
  • Finding Nemo Kids – Weaver Lake Elementary

    Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. Finding Nemo Kids is a great show for students who enjoy singing, dancing, and creating different characters. It's also a great opportunity for any student who wants to work together to make something special! All students receive a part in the musical. Space is limited to 45 students - all students must be pre-registered before the first rehearsal. The BEAT (Bunce Educational Adventure Theater) will provide trained theater staff who will lead students through a musical theater experience that will promote problem solving skills, working cooperatively, leadership and self-confidence. Auditions for lead characters will be held on the first day.   • Frozen 2 Musical Theater Camp (Kidstop Site)

    Into the unknown! You will learn music and choreography from our favorite Frozen sequel. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more. We will also play fun and creative theater games. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Family and friends are invited to a brief performance on the last day of camp at 3:30 pm.
  • Acting Technique for Stage and Screen

    For anyone wanting to hone their skills for acting on stage or for the camera, this class will cover specific techniques to allow you to become more emotionally engaged while also being completely present and in the moment. Camera work will include techniques for acting for film and tv, as well as commercials.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.   • Acting - Scene Study

    Stretch out those acting muscles by diving into scenes from contemporary and classic plays. This class will focus on script analysis, character breakdown, given circumstances, listening and reacting in the moment, and emotional and physical commitment. Participants should have a fundamental understanding of acting technique and will perhaps have performed on stage. Participants are also encouraged to bring in any scenes they may be currently working on.
