  • Baby Yoga

    For families with babies from birth up to crawling (approx. 10 months). If your child is older than 10 months and not yet crawling, call our office office for assistance with your registration - 763-391-8777 When caring for children, it can be difficult to find time to care for yourself. Use this time to breathe, move and connect to self, body, baby and maybe some other adults. Classes start with a warm-up, which is important for both parents and babies and end with parent discussion time. Bring water and towel or yoga mat. Weather permitting, class will be held outdoors. Class fee update: There is no charge for attending this class; the fee listed in the summer flier is being waived.

  • Birth to 5 ECFE

    For families with children ages birth up to age 5. Multi-age classes designed for parents and children to enjoy time together playing and exploring. Followed by a time of separation where children go with an Early Childhood Teacher for guided playtime and adults go for discussion time with a Parenting Educator.

  • ECFE at the Park

    For families with children ages birth up to age 8. An outdoor class featuring a variety of play, exploration and learning experiences throughout the community. It is designed to support all levels of learning and development. Children will learn through play by exploring the natural world together with other children, their family and an Early Childhood Teacher.     FREE! Birth to 18 Months/Non Separating

    Interact with your baby in a space designed especially for infants and meet other families with infants. Learn fun play ideas, songs to sing and gain information and support for parenting your baby. Discussion topics typically include: parent and child bond and attachment, adjusting to family life, brain development, developmental milestones, establishing routines, feeding, sleep and more! Infant classes are non-separating classes. Families stay together for the entire class time in a group. Registration for all parent and infant classes is based on the age of the child at the start date of each class.

    Familias Hispanas - nacimiento a cinco (sin separación)

    Para los padres, ECFE es un lugar para recibir apoyo de otros padres, hacer preguntas sobre el desarrollo o la educación de su hijo a un maestro autorizado y reflexionar sobre los valores y prácticas de su familia. Esta clase para familias que hablan español en casa y quieren participar en la conversación entre padres en español. Los padres y los niños permanecerán juntos durante todo el tiempo de clase. For children from birth to five years old, ECFE is a safe place to play freely, mingle with other children, and learn. For parents, ECFE is a place to receive support from other parents, ask questions about your child's development or education to a licensed teacher, and reflect on your family values and practices. The ECFE class for families who speak Spanish at home and who would like to participate in the conversation between parents in Spanish. Parents and children will stay together through the entire class time.

    Nature Play Area: Birth to 5

    This class is for children ages Birth to 5 as of September 1, 2023 You and your child will enjoy time together in our outdoor space designed to support young children’s learning and development. The outdoor classroom space includes: mud kitchen, giant bird's nest, hammock village, sand play area, little library, slack line, tree cookie trail, water play area and more! Those weeks can be challenging, beautiful, full of growing/healing/changing, and a test of the body and mind at times. That’s where we come in. We talk about all the realities of the fourth trimester, connect new parents with the resources they need to feel confident in those first few, sleep-deprived months, and building awareness among new parents that confusion and difficulties are expected and common. In class, there will be opportunities to weigh and measure your newborn, tracking their growth. Then a parent educator and public health nurse will be available to provide information and support on topics such as sleep, attachment, development, other topics related to a newborn, plus you and your mental health as you navigate this major life change. Join us and build a supportive community of families who are all navigating the same journey. Together, we share experiences, learn, and grow.

Las familias serán notificadas sobre su colocación en clase el viernes 3 de mayo a las 4 p. m. Familias con niños desde el nacimiento hasta los 8 años. ¡Explore recursos locales y conéctese con nuestra comunidad! Esta clase ofrece visitas semanales a lugares del vecindario, brindando aprendizaje práctico y oportunidades de juego para familias de habla hispana con niños pequeños.
